Account Manager

Uniqwa Furniture Collection’s is continuing to grow and we are looking for our next account manager; a driven, positive and people-friendly super star to be responsible for the management of relationships and sales with key clients.

About the role

As one of our Uniqwa Account Mangers you will maintain existing assigned relationships and grow your client base by creating long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned clients. 

You will work alongside and report directly to our fabulous Senior Account Manager.  

The position is full-time and based in our head office in Ashmore, Queensland.  

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing trade client portfolio; order requests, information, product care, sales leads, monitoring orders from quote through to delivery.

  • Building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships

  • Effective customer care to our clients

  • Actively prospecting new trade clients

  • Effectively translate strategic goals and objectives into a sales and growth plan for assigned account base

  • Organising workload and resources in order to accomplish goals

  • Demonstrate positive work ethics to align with other team members and employees 

About you – Our next Super Star

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic accounts/sales professional preferably with experience in the interiors industry to build and maintain our growing trade business accounts.  You will provide a seamless service whilst maintaining long- term relationships with our wonderful wholesale clients. 

A key attribute is to build lasting relationships and have the ability to understand our client’s requests, plan how to meet these requests and generate sales as a result.

Above all, our ideal candidate will have an epic work ethic enabling them to fit in to the Uniqwa corporate culture; one of engagement, drive, positivity and teamwork. 

We have a close-knit team environment; you will be required to work cohesively and efficiently to maintain our high standards of customer service. 

The ideal candidate is highly efficient, personable and can demonstrate:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Professional, positive and friendly communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Solid computer skills

  • The ability to show initiative and problem solve

  • Able to multi-task effectively

  • A proactive nature with the ability to work autonomously as well as a contributing team member 

  • Ability to build meaningful relationships within the industry by engaging with clients

  • Ability to build & maintain an expert level of product knowledge

  • A background in the interiors industry or B2B sales is strongly preferred
